Just my .02... I guess the limit on cars is to prevent the show from going to 3:30 in the morning like it has in the past. The derby should be started on time, (6:00, instead of 8:00) do not drag out the inspections like last year. If there is something wrong, tell them to fix it or leave. Make the drivers hit, and if they don't, break their flag. This last years car count is the largest that I have seen it in at least 5-6 years.
I agree with sandman71. If 100 show up, let them all run. More cars the better. Car counts all over the US are hurting. 70 total (Roughly) showed up last year for the KOTB, including minis and all the ones that didn't pass inspection. Looks like Scottsville's car count is back to what it was years ago, don't screw it up. Nice the pay was raised though. If not for the limit, there may be 60-70 big there this next year. (Only if the country boy derby doesn't come back)

I hope there isn't 10 cars there total. At least it isn't the SOKY fair. It's barely had above 9 cars for as long as I can remember.

We have increased the cars to 60. The entry will have to be mailed to Allen County Jaycees PO Box 665, Scottsville, KY 42164. First received first in. In case of a tie: Past winners will get the spot first, then drivers that participated in 2014, if more than one participated last year or none participated we will go by postmarks then next we will go to blind draw.
To get free entry fee you must run the 2015 Allen County Spring Fling and the Allen County Fair or a Past Winner of the King of the Bluegrass. You must still be one of the first 60 to send in your $100 entry, your entry will be refunded to you when you show up to the King with a car.
