I am really digging the rules a lot of the south central KY shows have been running. Allows for a decent build, and lots of fun. My gripe is I would like to see leaf sprung cars allowed. I attended the Columbia derby a couple Weeks ago and the inspection appeared to be thorough and fair. That being said, why not open up the shows and let a wider spectrum of cars run? I would like to see some old galaxies, suicides, etc come mix it up at places with these rules. Whats everyone's opinion on this matter?

I was meaning more along the lines of allowing stock leaf sprung cars w/factory leaf packs. Good feedback though. Let's see some more votes and hear some more feedback....

Let's see some more votes and hear some more feedback.... we all know that a leaf sprung car rear is considerably harder than a factory coil sprung rear. thats why i like the option of hump plates or leaf springs

Yes leaf spring cars are harder in the ass. Not enough to warrant a hump plate for coil cars. However the stock springs and hangers are junk and more often than not break very easy. Leaf sprung cars should be able to run with stock spring and hanger. No chaining the humps down.
