2014 Top Dog Promotion Rules!!! All Rules just scroll down!!
BIG CAR PRO MODIFIED
1. Any year Sedan or Wagon (No imperials) unless specified
2. Helmet with eye protection and seat belt must be worn at all times.
3. Pits 5 mph max.
4. Top 3 cars in feature are subject to re-inspection.
5. Any controversies or protest must be brought up before drivers meeting.
6. ANY QUESTIONS CALL FIRST, IF IT DOESN'T SAY YOU CAN DO IT, DON'T DO IT. Clarification of some rules from phone calls may have to be determined the day of the derby, due to interpretation of rules by car builder.
7. Judges decision is final.
8. All glass, plastic, and interior must be removed before arriving at the derby.
9. Motor swaps and interior must be removed before arriving at the derby.
10. You may use 1, not both “A” you can have kickers from the front dash bar to the top side of frame behind A arms. 2 x 2 square tubing or 2" pipe only no other material may be used they must be within 2" of A arm. OR “B” a kicker permitted from dash bar to distributor protector. This may not weld or bolt to dist. protector. If using option A you can leave your distributor protector on the motor, it just can't be connected to the dash bar in any way!
11. You can run a 4 point around the driver which consist of bar across the dash which cannot be within 5" of the firewall. A bar behind the seat and it must be within 12" of driver seat. And 2 door bars connecting the dash and seat bar. You can run a roll over bar that has to connect to the rear seat bar. the roll bar can be welded to the frame and bolted in 3 spots to the roof. The roll bar is the only bar that can be welded to the frame.
12. You can have a rear window bar which can be 3 inch wide 1/2" thick and be welded to roof and where trunk lid and speaker deck meet. If you have a slanted roll bar you cannot run a rear window bar...2 back window bars are also aloud.
13. Gas tank protector may be used. These protectors cannot be any wider than 24 inches at the widest point, no exceptions. The protector can go to the rear floor pan but not bolted or welded. If you have gone over board you will cut it out.
14. batteries must be moved to passenger floor board and covered.
15. All outside body seams may be welded. If floors are rusty you may patch with sheet metal only.
16. Bumper shocks can be welded solid. You can run home made bumper shocks no longer than 12 inches. You can weld top frame seam with a single ¼ inch pass only. If car is rusted or pre-ran you can fix these spots with 6 4x4 ¼ inch thick plates but we must be able to see where car was rusted or bent. No plates on fresh cars, no exceptions!
17. Height limit is 22 inches to bottom of bumper max and no lower than 16 inches.
18.You can run any year bumper and it can be reinforced. Bumper should be same width and length as stock bumpers. NO home made sharp points, but can have slight factory angle.
19. You may bolt or wire your hood in six places, hood must be 12x12 hole. Core support may be wired to front bumper, but no wire in front of the radiator. You may run two 2 inch wide 1/4 thick straps from core support to bumper. You can run a 36 inch piece of angel in center of radiator support on top. If radiator support needs repaired you must use sheet metal. Hood must be open for inspection.
20. You can weld the trunk with three inch 1/4 thick metal. You can run the three inch wide 1/4 thick straps from the trunk lid to rear bumper. If car is wedged or unable to see in trunk you may be asked to cut a hole in it for inspection reasons.
21. You can remove the factory body bolts and replace the one inch all thread and three inch washers max one inch gap between body and frame. You can run all thread up through the hood and use as hood bolt. All washer must be in the frame and not hinder from seeing it in frame.
22. You can run rear end protector that must be six inches of the rear end. You can weld or chain coil springs in.
23. You may bolt your fenders and quarter panels with up to six bolts. You may repair panels if ripped open but you can only over lap your rip one inch with sheet metal.
24. You can reinforce the a-arms and tie rods. You can weld a-arms solid to the frame. Homemade a-arms have to be same size as factory! No over sizing!!
25. Suspension does not have to bounce. You can run solid suspension such as using all thread as shocks. You cannot convert coil sprung cars to leaf.
26. All cars must have fan covered at all times.
27. You can run a 22 inch long 1/4 thick hump plate that has to contour to the frame above the rear end and be welded to the outside of the frame.
28. If your car has leaf springs, you cannot have hump plates.

2. Helmet with eye protection and seat belt must be worn at all times.

9. Motor swaps are allowed. Motors can be welded or chained with two pieces of chain no longer than 10 inches per chain.
10. Distributor protectors are allowed with a kicker bar but can't be welded or bolted to the protector. Firewall cannot be reinforced, but you can run a three inch wide by 1/2 thick lat window bar, but cannot be welded to the protector.
11. You can run a 4 point around the driver which consist of bar across the dash which cannot be within 5" of the firewall. A bar behind the seat and it must be within 12" of driver seat. 12. All electric fuel pumps must shut off with key or have a separate switch that is clearly marked.
13. Gas tank protector may be used. These protectors can not be wider then 24 inches at the widest point, no exceptions. The protector can go to the rear floor pan but not bolted or welded. If you have gone over board you will cut it out.

WE must be able to see the rust and NO plates on fresh cars unless rusted. If pre-ran must use plates to fix bent spots.

You may run two 2" wide 1/4 thick straps from core support to bumper. You can rub a 24" piece of angle in center of radiator support to top. If radiator support needs repaired you must use sheet metal. Hood must be open for inspection.

21. You cannot weld the sway bar to engine cradle or frame. It must stay in factory location or removed you can weld to lower a-arm.
22. You may reinforce struts and a-arms but you cannot completely sleeve the strut. You can weld or chain coil springs in.
23. You may bolt your fenders and quarter panels with up to 6 bolts. You may repair panels if ripped open but you can only over lap rip 1" with sheet metal.
24. Factory leaf sprung cars can build springs to 5 leafs per side max. springs don't have to stagger.
25. Suspension does not have to bounce. You can run solid suspension such as using all thread as shocks. you can not convert coil sprung cars to leaf.
26. All cars must have fan covered at all times.
27. There will be no pinning of frame rails in anyway.
28. Watch schedule for front wheel drive class only.
29. You can run a back window bar form the roll bar to the back bumper in one spot. If you run 2 back window bars they have to be 15" from the back bumper on fresh cars and never aloud to be attached to back bumper.
30. You can run two kickers from front dash bar to the inside part of frame where the motor mounts are connected, or a dash bar to the head plate, ONLY ONE.
31. You can load front frame rails from the firewall forward on the inside of the frame rails.

1. Any 1980 or newer sedan or wagon.
2. Helmet with eye protection and seat belt must be worn at all times.
3. 5 mph limit Pit speed at all times.
4. Top 3 cars are subject to re-inspection.
5. Any controversies or protest must be brought up before drivers meeting.
6. ANY QUESTIONS CALL FIRST, IF IS DOESN'T SAY YOU CAN'T DO IT, DON'T DO IT!
7. All decisions are final.
8. All glass, plastic, and interior must be removed before arriving at the derby.
9. Motor swaps are allowed.
10. You can weld motor mounts to the frame and run a engine cradle.
11.*NEW (A) If you run a mid plate set up between Trans and Motor.. You can have a 4 bar floating cage.It cant connect to the frame or floor at any point. At no point in time can the tranny protector come in contact with the cage or parts.The dash bar must be 6 inches from the firewall and 6 inches from the Top of hump in floor board with no alterations.. Back bar has to be within 12" of the front seat. Roll over bars are preferred.
(B) If you run without a mid plate set up...You are aloud to have the Dash Bar That runs across the Top of the Trans protector. It CANNOT BE CONNECTED TO IT OR SLEEVED IN ANY WAY. It can only lay on it and the dash bar can be connected to the 2 side bars. Dash Bar CANNOT be welded to the fire wall.
YOU CAN ONLY RUN (A)or(B) NOT BOTH!!Anyone else can run 4 Bar floating cage.
12. You can change body bolts to 1/2 inch and body mounts can be changed but the body mounts or washers cannot be welded to the frame.
13. NO distributor protector at all or gas tank protector, you can have a gas tank holder that is no closer than 8 inches from back seat area. Only connected to the back bar
14. Battery must be moved to passenger side floor board and covered.
15. Gas tank must be moved to back seat area and covered.
16. You can weld 3 inches wide 5 inches on 5 inches off all the way around the door. No solid door welding!
17. Trunk lids, right and left side weld 5 inches on 5 inches off. Front and back of trunk lid, may be wired in only 2 spots each. 3 strands of wire on each.
18. Hood can be bolted or wired in 6 places, no angle iron on fenders and hood.
19. Bumpers can be any year and interchange. Bumpers can also be welded on. The bumper seems can also be welded but NO added metal or loading of bumpers.
20. Bumper can only be 22" in front and no lower than 16" in the back.
21. Car suspension must have bounce, not just in tires. No Solid Suspensions!
22. You can change rear ends, and you can run any rear end.You can also run any trailing arms on rear end.
23. You can put 2 bolts in fenders with a 2" washer on the outside.
24. No welding on the frame. No plates on the frame anywhere. Only place being welded should be motor mounts and bumpers or specified.
25. Must run factory tie rods, but can weld the seem closed.
26. On pre-ran cars only, you can weld 1-3 inch by 5 inch plate ¼ inch thick per frame rail, where it is bent or broken.
27. NO frame shaping but you can hammer in spots that are blown out on pre-ran cars.
28. You can have 2 strands of wire from core support to the top of the front bumper (not in front of radiator) 2 strands of wire to the back bumper.
29. Tires round and black.
30. You must call me on any repair for pre-ran cars or rust in fresh cars!!!
31. You can run no larger than a 3” spacer on core support for fan clearance and the spacer cannot be welded to the frame.
32. You can run ¾ inch all thread in front core support through the hood.
33. You can run a transmission protector with steel bell, but the protector has to stay around the transmission, it cannot brace against the back of motor/heads or cross member. (no kickers to these) or off of these!!!
34. You cannot move or add any body mounts!
35. You can cut the front of frame rail off to the first mount and that's it!!!!!
36. 2003 and up cannot change anything! They have to run the factory cradle!
37. You can run slider shafts!
38. You can run a different cross member but keep the mounting point on the frame to less than 5 inches.
39.You may crease the body but all seems need to be seen to check for welds.
40. You must run factory bumper shocks or no shocks. NO homemade bumper shocks!

2014 Windshield Class Rules
1 Car has to be factory!!! You cant change ANYTHING. Only exceptions are....
2 Must remove glass and plastic from cars
3 You can run any tire
4 You can weld rear ends
5 Wire doors, trunk,and hood in 6 spots. 3 strands at each point.
6 Gas tank and battery can be moved into the floor boards but have to be secured!

Mini Car Circle Track Race
1 Must remove all glass and plastic from car
2 Car must be less than 109 inch wheel base from factory and 4 or 6 cylinder.
3 If running a stock gas tank it must be in front of the back wheels
4 You can build a cage in the car and weld the door seems.
5 You can build a homemade bumper but it cant be wider than the front of the car and it has to be built safely!
6 It is a race not a derby! You will be DQ'ed if not racing. Must listen to judges
7 No arguing or unsafe driving in the pits
2014 Mower rules
1 You can build a cage on your mower
2 must be able to hit the tires
3 No bumpers wider than the tires or stick out more than 5 inches
4 No hitting against the wall
5 Factory mower parts
6 Lawn mowers not yard tractors
7 You can reinforce the mowers
8 No arguing at all or unsafe driving
9 Rules are close to last year.
