All trim, glass, and plastic etc, are to be taken out and swept clean from inside of car.
Car Building
BODY:
Doors and decklid may be welded shut with no more 2” wide flat metal
Hood must cover fan- can be secured with #9 wire in 6 spots or 8” long angle with one bolt per section.***must be in stock location and with car at inspection***
Quarters can be pre-dented but must remain upright. No folding or rolling over. No wedges, no ramp back, no sedagons,
Tail light panel must remain up right
Trunk can be V-ed down in the middle-- trunk lid must have 14” hole cut in it
Speaker deck can be REMOVED
Body bushings can be removed--- FRONT 2 and REAR 2 body bolts can be replaced with 1” all thread using no larger than 5” washers….. The remaining body bolts can-not be larger that 7/16” bolts.
Windshield bars are to be attached to cowl area and top of roof
Rear window bars are to be attached to roof skin and down to FRONT edge of trunk (they cannot touch rollover bar
BUMPERS:
Any year car bumper or DEC bumpers can be used
No LOADED bumpers
Bumpers can be welded to brackets and brackets can be welded to frame.
Late model only can use an 8”x8” plate to MAX to mount front bumper
bumper shocks can be welded, colapsed and welded or left out, but CANNOT be replaced with tube,pipe or bar stock, or anything else..
CAGE:
4 point cage
One bar under dash, one behind seat, and one for each front door.
Driver door bar can be inside door( no hidden down bars) Pass side bar must remain inside car
Plate on drivers door only ( cannot be larger than door )
Dash bar must be at least 5” from firewall and 5” above trans tunnel
Dash and seat bar can use no larger than 8”x8” plate to mount to door post
NO legs from cage to floor
Can use #9 wire in 4 spots in side car
ROLLOVER BAR:
Can be attached to seat bar in two spots and floor pan ( sheet metal only ) Can be inside or out side roof, and can be bolted to roof but not welded.
GAS TANK PROTECTOR:
Mounted to seat bar ONLY, can not be welded to floor
CANNOT be attached to ANYTHING ELSE. Page 1 of 2
ENGINE :
Any engine and transmission can be used
DRIVESHAFT:
Any drive shaft or slip shaft can be used
REAR END:
Must be a 5 lug style 5 lug rear end.
No leaf conversions.
Rear end housing can be BRACED
SUSPENSION:
Must be stock type in stock location
Front A-arms can be welded to frame.
Rear control arms can be braced or homemade--must remain in stock location.
Shocks can be solid or replaced-- must mount in shock location
CHASSIS:
Late models can be “ TILTED”
Frame can be cut or notched
Welding frame on top from front a-arms forward is allowed
HUMP plates are allowed --MAX 22 inches --
2003 and up fords can be converted to old style cradle with a maximum of 12” of weld, all other components must be bolted in with stock size bolts, no metal, gussets, or braces allowed!!!
Bumper height min 16” max 22”
CRADLES:
Engine cradles allowed
Transmission cradles allowed
Engine halo bars allowed
NO chains or kickers PERIOD, if the cradle has chains on it, cut em off !!!
Distributor protector allowed and can touch firewall, but not attached …..
MISC:
Transmission coolers allowed
Electric fans allowed
Gas tank to be secured
Battery to be secured and covered in pass floor
Just because its not listed on the rule sheet doesn’t make it allowed !!! Call for questions.
**NO alcohol allowed or tolerated--Law enforcement will be present **
**No foul language will be tolerated. Your crew can get you DQ’ed **
**Car and driver at inspection ONLY- no crew members allowed**
**Inspections starts at 2:30pm and ends at 6:30pm SHARP, no inspections after:
** cars will be checked for changes made before each heat, if your caught your out.
Team Show will be limited to 10 Teams.
