Alright drivers, lets give the promoters something to read and get ideas from. What would you like to see done in 2014? New classes added? Old classes changed or eliminated? Payout/paydown changes? Voice your opinion here....

I guess its only fair that I answer my own question. Two things quickly come to mind: -I would love to see fullsize trucks make their way into more local derbies -I would like to see 8 lug rearends allowed at more derbies (anywhere where anything more than stock is allowed). If an expensive aftermarket rearend is allowed, then why not a cheap factory rear to allow the guys without a lot of $ to be.more competitive...

I want to see a stock derby (actually stock) wire class, no aftermarket parts, etc pay a large sum to win. See who can actually drive when you take away their credit card.
I also agree that if aftermarket rearends are allowed at a show, 8 lug rears should be a no brainer to allow also.
Would love to see a compact team show. Dont run compacts, but I'd drive to watch one and the car count would probably be awesome.

i like more semi stock derbies and the ones that say mod rules should say run what you bring cause they pretty much let anything go anyway depending on who you are i mean whats the point in inspecting a mod car we all no they are welded from bumper to bumper and they run till something breaks or they get hung with semi stock i say weld doors motor tranny rearend of choice slider shaft trunk must open no loaded bumpers no added metal thats not an expensive car to build

I agree with sandman except for the sliders I have more fun running that type of car than a mod car

I would like to see a chain and bang derby with a good payout, 2 chains per door, remove glass and trim, only welding allowed for rollover bar attached to frame and steel plate across outside of drivers door no cage on the inside, fuel cell in back seat and battery in the floor board, no aftermarket parts with the exception of fuel cell and headers, and run oem engine trans and stock no weld rearend...that would make for a good show anybody can run

stock, semi-stock compacts. something we can afford to do without investing a fortune to be competitive

It would be really awesome to see a truck derby too, just from some of the drivers i know, finding cars now are extremely difficult and I feel like it would be way easier to find trucks to get ready, and they could hold the truck derbies separately or at a different time of the year so the derby drivers can also use their cars, I wouldn't mind sitting in the cold in that meant derbies went all year long

i would also like to see an outlaw class, imperials and hearses, let them smash into each other until one runs out of gas, but thats modified now a days, i see a derby car look identical coming out as it did going in
