Entry fee will be paid at the gate; if your car fails inspection and it is unable to be corrected your entry fee will not be refunded.
Car must be inspected before 5:00p.m. Don’t wait until the last minute or you will not get to run.
Inspection begins at 12:00 PM
Drivers only in inspection area
Absolutely no welding, anywhere on the car except where the rules say you can.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. EACH DRIVER MUST FILL OUT A TECH CARD.
2. EACH DRIVER MUST BE LEGAL AGE (18) OR HAVE A RELEASE SIGNED AND NOTORIZE BY HIS/HER PARENT/GUARDIAN, CALL FOR THE OFFICIAL FORM
3. THE OFFICALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO APPROVE OR REJECT ALL ENTRIES.
4. ALL HEATS ARE AVAILABLE TO BOTH MEN AND WOMEN.
5. THE SIMPSON COUNTY FAIR BOARD OR RELAY FOR LIFE WILL NOT BE RESPNSIBLE FOR ANY CARS, PARTS, OR PERSONAL PROPERTY BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE DERBY.
6. ANY COMPLIANTS WILL BE HEARD IN THE ARENA WITHIN TEN MINUTES AFTER EACH HEAT FROM THE DRIVERS ONLY!
7. OFFICALS DECISIONS ARE FINAL NO EXCEPTIONS!
8. COMPLAINTS WILL BE HEARD FROM DRIVERS ONLY! NO PITMEN OR FAMILY COMPLAINTS WILL BE TOLERATED; THOSE PEOPLE WILL BE QUICKLY ESCORTED AWAY FROM FAIR GROUNDS AND MAY CAUSE THE DRIVER TO BE DISQUALIFIED!
9. NO FOUL LANGUAGE WILL BE TOLERATED. ANY DRIVER USING FOUL LANGUAGE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND FORFEIT FROM ANY PRIZE MONEY

General
1. ALL GLASS INCLUDING WINDSHIELD, SIDE WINDOWS, REAR WINDOWS AND HEAD AND TAIL LIGHTS MUST BE REMOVED.
2. CHROME MOULDING STRIPS AND THE BOTTOM PORTION OF REAR SEATS MUST BE REMOVED.
3. ANY SHARP PROTRUDING FINS OR DANGEROUS OBJECTS MUST BE MASHED DOWN OR CUT OFF.
4. BATTERY MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY IN FRONT PASSANGER FLOOR BOARD.
5. ONLY 6-GALLON GAS TANKS ARE ALLOWED AND MUST BE PROPERLY SECURED AWAY FROM BATTERY. YOU CAN NOT USE THE GAS TANK TO REINFORCE THE CAR, GAS TANK MUST BE METAL OR IN A METAL BOX. NO GASTANK PROTECTORS!
6. FUEL LINES MUST BE RAN IN A SAFE MANNER
7. RADIATORS MUST REMAIN IN ORIGINAL POSITION OR BE TAKEN OFF.
8. AUTOMOBILE MUST BE SWEPT CLEAN. NO JUNK TIRES, WHEELS OR PARTS LEFT IN CAR.
9. BATTEY MUST BE COVERED WITH A FLOOR MAT OR OTHER NONCONDUCTIVE MATERIAL
Body and Frame
1. NO CHANGING OF FRAMES OR BODYS HOWEVER, THE DOG HOUSE CAN BE CANGED
2. NO REINFORCEMENTMENTS OR TRAILER HITCHES ARE ALLOWED
3. WELD ALL DOOR SEAMS WITH NO WIDER THAN 2” OR THICKER THAN ¼” FLAT BAR, WELD 5” SKIP 5” ON ALL DOORS EXECPT DRIVERS DOOR, IT CAN BE WELDED SOLID
4. 2 WINDSHIED BARS ARE ALLOWED
5. NO REARWINDOW BARS
6. ADD SAFETY BAR BEHIND SEAT, FRONT DASH BAR (HAS TO BE AT LEAST 5” OFF FLOOR AND 5” OFF FIRE WALL), AND PLATE THE INSIDE OF DRIVERS DOOR (CAN BE WELDED IN TO DOOR JAMS BUT NOT TO THE FRAME). THE PLATE ON DRIVERS SIDE ONLY CAN BE 10” BEHIND DOOR SEAM TO PROTECT GAS TANK.THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY, PASSENGER DOOR CAN HAVE A MAXIMUM OF 5” SQUARE TUBE BETWEEN DASH BAR AND SEAT BAR THAT CAN EXTEND 8” BEHIND THE DOOR SEAM TO MOUNT THE ROLL BAR TO.
7. ROLLOVER BARS ARE REQUIRED. ROLLOVER BARS CANNOT BE BOLTED TO THE ROOF AND CAN NOT BE MORE THAN 8” BEHIND DOOR SEAM. ROLLOVER BARS CANNOT TOUCH THE FLOOR AND HAVE TO BE INSIDE THE CAR, ROLLOVER BAR MUST BE VERTICAL
8. STOCK/FACTORY STEARING COLUMNS ONLY, YOU CAN ADD U-JOINTS TO THE STEARING SHAFT
9. NO REINFORCING OF TIE RODS OR CENTER LINK
10. BODY BUSHINGS CANNOT BE REMOVED OTHER THAN THE TWO BY THE RADIATOR AND THEY CAN BE REPLACED WITH 1” ALLTHREAD THROUGH THE FRAME UPTHROUGH THE HOOD,

13. THE HOOD CAN BE WIRED IN 6 PLACES WITH 3 STRANDS OF #9 WIRE, IF YOU USE THE TWO 1”ALLTHREAD BOLTS BY THE RADIATOR YOU CAN ONLY HAVE 4 PLACES WIRED
14. THE TRUNK CAN BE WIRED IN FOUR PLACES OR YOU CAN USE 5/8” ALLTHREAD THROUGH THE BACK TWO BODY BUSHINGS UP THROUGH THE TRUNK LID, THE BODY BUSHINGS MUST REMAIN IN PLACE AND WIRE THE OTHER TWO PLACES WITH 3 STRANDS OF #9 WIRE.

1. SAFETY BELT, FULL FACE HELMET (MUST BE DOT APPROVED) AND GOGGLES OR FACE SHIELD ARE REQUIRED
2. DRIVERS MAY MANUVER FORWARD AND BACKWARD BUT THERE WILL BE NO DELIBERATE HEAD ON COLLISIONS AND NO DELIBERATE HITTING IN THE DRIVER DOOR. ANY ONE DOING SO WILL BE DISQULIFIED AND LOOSE THEIR POSITION AND MONEY.
3. NO DRINKING OR DRUGS WILL BE TOLERATED. DRIVERS OR PITMEN DOING SO WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF THAT DRIVER.
4. ANY TYPE OF FIRE WILL BE PUT OUT ONE TIME, THEN NEXT TIME YOU ARE DISQUALIFIED.
5. NO SANDBAGGING WILL BE TOLERATED!!! THIS IS AN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.
6. ALL HITS MUST BE AGGRESSIVE. HIT EVERYONE THE SAME
7. YOU MUST MAKE AGGRESSIVE CONTACT EVERY 60 SECONDS
8. IF DRIVERS DOOR COMES OPEN YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
9. THERE WILL BE NO PINNING AND HOLDING WHILE SOMEONE ELSE IS HITTING.
10. NO WILD DRIVEING IN THE PITS. EACH DRIVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS/HER CREW.
11. IF YOU GET FLIPPED AND WE FLIP YOU BACK OVER YOU ARE OUT.

10. CUSTOM CROSSMEMBERS ARE ALLOWED, CAN BE NO LONGER 8” THAN 8” WHERE IT BOLTS TO THE FRAME, CANNOT PROTECT THE TRANSMISSION OR BRACE OR STRENGTHEN THE CAR
RUNNING
1. SAFETY BELT, FULL FACE HELMET (MUST BE DOT APPROVED) AND GOGGLES OR FACE SHIELD ARE REQUIRED
2. DRIVERS MAY MANUVER FORWARD AND BACKWARD BUT THERE WILL BE NO DELIBERATE HEAD ON COLLISIONS AND NO DELIBERATE HITTING IN THE DRIVER DOOR. ANY ONE DOING SO WILL BE DISQULIFIED AND LOOSE THEIR POSITION AND MONEY.
3. NO DRINKING OR DRUGS WILL BE TOLERATED. DRIVERS OR PITMEN DOING SO WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF THAT DRIVER.
4. ANY TYPE OF FIRE WILL BE PUT OUT ONE TIME, THEN NEXT TIME YOU ARE DISQUALIFIED.
5. NO SANDBAGGING WILL BE TOLERATED!!! THIS IS AN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.
6. ALL HITS MUST BE AGGRESSIVE. HIT EVERYONE THE SAME
7. YOU MUST MAKE AGGRESSIVE CONTACT EVERY 60 SECONDS
8. IF DRIVERS DOOR COMES OPEN YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
9. THERE WILL BE NO PINNING AND HOLDING WHILE SOMEONE ELSE IS HITTING.
10. NO WILD DRIVEING IN THE PITS. EACH DRIVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS/HER CREW.
11. IF YOU GET FLIPPED AND WE FLIP YOU BACK OVER YOU ARE OUT.
