RULES FOR BIG CAR & SMALL CAR DEMOLITION DERBY 1. Cars must be ’80 model or newer. NO Imperials, NO Imperial sub frames, NO Ambulances, NO Limousines, NO Suicide, NO Lincolns, NO Hearses, NO Mustangs, NO Pacers allowed 2. Chevy car must have Chevy motor, Ford must have Ford motor, Chrysler must have Chrsler motor, etc… All motors MUST REMAIN STOCK, no upgrades! Cars MUST RUN FACTORY ENGINE 3. Remove all glass, mirrors and plastic. Remove all decking in wagons. Vehicles must be swept clean of all debris. 4. NO Sedagons, NO crease enhancement, NO Sheet metal shaping, forming or molding… Bodyy to remain COMPLETELY STOCK. 5. Deck and hood must be 100% in stock location and open for inspection. 6. Anything can be removed… NOTHING can be added. 7. NO WELDING ON BODY 8. Fasten doors, hood and trunk in 4 places with 4 strands of #9 wire or chain per door, hood and trunk. 9. Body mounts and spacers to remain stock and in place. If they are broken #9 wire may be substituted. NO body bolt changing allowed. 10. ALL outer hardware must be removed; door handles, mirrors, chrome, moldings, screws, etc… NO added weight to any car. 11. All cars must have a bounce in suspension. NO solid suspension allowed. 12. NO welding on frames allowed. 13. NO suspension modifications allowed. Suspension must remain strictly STOCK. 14. All bodies must be mounted on stock EOM frames for that year and make of the car. 15. NO performance parts or engines allowed. STOCK ONLY. The only acceptable upgrades are timing chain, headers, basic tuneup, etc…NO complete rebuilds. 16. Only the lower stock engine mounts may be changed. 17. Stock rear ends only-EOM for that car. Rear end gears may be welded. 18. Floor shifters allowed. Headers allowed. 19. NO engine cradles, slipshafts or protectors of any kind. NO aftermarket parts of this nature at all. 20. 2-bar cage ONLY, dash area, driver’s door or seat bar. NO other cage components allowed. NO down pipes. Driver’s door may be padded. 21. Gas tank must be moved and secured in the back seat area. A maximum of 1-12 volt battery may be used. Battery must be moved to inside passenger area and must be covered. NO jump boxes in cars. 22. NO oil or transmission coolers allowed. O.E. radiator cooling only. 23. Prefer to have fuel lines run inside the car, not under the car along th frame. 24. Fuel lines must be secured to the floor and kept from pinch points. ALL lines must be double clamped. 25. You may chain and/or weld bumper shocks only. Single pass only 26. Mud grip tires allowed. NO loaded tire, NO solid wheels, NO Bobcat tires, NO tractor tires. 27. NO changing tires after inspection. Ride height will be measured with competition tires only. 28. Bumpers may not exceed 20 inches from the ground to the bottom of the bumper. MUST REMAIN LEVEL. 29. Small car wheel base not to exceed 105.5 inches. 30. Radiator must remain in stock position in front of motor. 31. Radiator mounts must remain in the stock location. 32. OEM style radiators only. NO homemade tube construction radiators. 33. NO adding of cooling capacity. NO supplement cooling devises allowed.

Bet there won't 5 big cars there u wont find many big cars that run and drive for less than 700 or 800 dollars by the time u buy a car and build it pay entry fees u will have close to the first place money in it don't get me wrong I love the ideal of a stock derby I would rather run them anymore but cars are to expensive to build by these rules and payout

They actually might have more then 10 cars... really if think about it all your paying for is car entry fee an metal for chains.. its a stock.. COMPLETE OLD SCHOOL stock derby! you aint gonna spend to awful much! and its a great derby to start out on for beginners.

I really hope they have a great turn out Ill be there watching would find a car and run but I think u should be allowed motor swaps but only gm to gm and ford to ford etc the engine doesent determine if u win or not just hard to find running and driving cars cheap

I agree but I'm going to try to get a car ready don't agree with everything but were goona give it a go I guess u got to take the bad with the good the first derby I ever run was at the speedway so be kind of nice to do it again

If I was healed up and had a car I'd run. Big cars are in September and small cars last of this month.

I think that it be cheaper my opinion I hope that they would have several derbies a year like with those rules but safety is a issue I come to realize that so agreed with you guys on the 4 point cage an a mandatory of roll over bars, other then that keep'em legal!
